Hardscape that starts with the base, not the surface
Stamped concrete, paver patios, walkways, seat walls, fire pits, outdoor kitchens and segmental retaining walls — all built on properly excavated, compacted and drained base so the surface stays where you put it.
What the job includes
Excavation and base
Dig to depth, compact in lifts, and build the aggregate base that determines whether the patio lasts.
Grading and drainage
Slope set away from the house, with drainage added where the grade alone will not move the water.
Surface
Stamped and colored concrete, or clay and concrete pavers with a contrasting soldier border.
Features
Seat walls, fire pits, outdoor kitchens, steps and segmental retaining walls with proper drainage behind.
Materials we work with
- Stamped and colored concrete
- Concrete pavers

Frequently asked questions
Pavers or stamped concrete?+
Pavers flex with the ground and can be lifted and reset in sections. Stamped concrete gives a seamless surface, usually at a lower cost per square foot. Both work when the base is right.
Will my patio crack?+
Concrete moves; control joints direct where it cracks. Good base prep and correct jointing are what keep it from becoming a problem.
How long before I can use it?+
Pavers are usable immediately. Concrete needs a few days before foot traffic and about a week before heavy use.
Does stamped concrete need sealing?+
Yes, periodically, to keep the color and protect the surface. We tell you the interval at handoff.
Can you fix a patio that holds water?+
Often. Sometimes it is a re-grade, sometimes drainage, sometimes a rebuild. We tell you which after looking at it.
