Decks built on a frame that outlasts the surface
We build composite and cedar decks — single level, multi-level, covered and screened — with engineered footings, correct ledger detailing and railing that meets code without blocking the view.
What the job includes
Footings and framing
Poured footings below frost depth, properly sized beams and joists, and ledger flashing that keeps water out of the rim.
Decking and fasteners
Capped composite or cedar with hidden fasteners for a clean surface free of exposed screw heads.
Railing and stairs
Black aluminum, composite or wood railing, with stair rise and run laid out to code.
Covers and screens
Roof structures, screened enclosures, ceiling fans and lighting built in during the deck build.
Materials we work with

- Cedar and pressure-treated framing

Frequently asked questions
Composite or wood — which should I choose?+
Composite costs more up front and needs no staining; cedar costs less and needs regular maintenance. If you plan to stay in the home more than a few years, composite usually wins on total cost.
Do I need a permit for a deck?+
In nearly every city we serve, yes. We prepare the drawings and submit the permit package as part of the job.
How long does a deck take to build?+
Most residential decks run one to two weeks on site once materials are delivered, longer for covered or multi-level structures.
Can you rebuild on my existing footings?+
Only if they inspect out sound and meet current code. We check before we quote and tell you honestly either way.
Can you add a roof to an existing deck?+
Sometimes. The existing frame and footings have to carry the extra load — we evaluate that on site.
